Hay Dairies has been producing fresh goat’s milk as part of Singapore’s foodscape in Lim Chu Kang since 1988, ensuring that their herd is kept happy and healthy with A-grade feed!

Equipped with their savviness in Event Planning Management, student leaders from the WSQ Diploma in Hotel and Accommodation Services course (DHA-05-22A) led their trainers and classmates through a farm tour and hands-on goat feeding, followed with an informative presentation and Kahoot knowledge quiz to reveal the lucky winner of a carton of goat’s milk, the highly nutritious and healthier alternative!

With an increase in demand for goat’s milk across the last three decades, second-generation owner and business director Leon Hay shared exciting developments for the farm’s new 10,000 square-metre site at Neo Tiew Crescent, which will contribute towards Singapore’s “30 by 30” goal. Hay Dairies will incorporate productive and innovative farming systems including automated feeding, solar panels, rainwater harvesting systems and even converting goat waste matter into fertilisers for plants!

About Hay Dairies

The only goat farm in Singapore, Hay Dairies was first established in 1988 with just 48 goats, and now provides love, care and attention to its 700-strong herd of American mountain goats. A beloved institution of Singapore, the farm has produced fresh pasteurised goat’s milk for locals for over 30 years.

Hay Dairies is committed to educating Singapore’s next generation on food subsistence, and hosts daily farm tours with opportunities to catch goat-milking sessions in the mornings.
