Admission Requirements
1. Qualification
- Obtained at least a Grade 'E' at GCE 'A' Levels in any subject OR
- International applicants must have completed 12 years of formal education OR
- SHATEC WSQ Diploma in tourism/hospitality related discipline will be considered for advanced standing OR
- WSQ Diploma and Diploma in tourism/ hospitality related discipline from other PEIs will be considered for advanced standing OR
- WSQ Diploma and Diploma from other PEIs in non-related disciplines with minimum 3 years of relevant work experience will be considered for advanced standing OR
- Polytechnic Diploma Holder in any field of study in Singapore will be considered for advanced standing OR
- BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in any field of study
- Mature candidates ≥30 years old with 8 years of relevant work experience. (Supporting documents must be submitted upon application.) OR
- Other professional qualifications, private or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

3. English Proficiency
At least one of the following proficiency levels in English:
- At least a D7 in GCE O-Level English or equivalent OR
- A pass in SHATEC English Test OR
- Online English Placement Test conducted by SHATEC OR
- Achieve a minimum band of 5.5 in the IELTS or equivalent OR
- Letter from College/University clearly stating the Medium of Instruction of the highest qualification to be English OR
- A pass in any preceding WSQ Certificate level(s) will be recognised as fulfilment of English proficiency requirements.
