Course Duration & Structure
The total duration is 22 hours. This includes:
- Classroom Training – 20 hours
- Assessment – 2 hours

Theory and practical assessments will be conducted.
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
- Overview of kitchen hygiene and safety procedures
- Introduction to baking equipment and tools
- Characteristics and quality of ingredients for basic cakes
- Methods and techniques of preparing basic cakes
- Overcoming common faults in cake products
